WHAT IS DUDLEY HEALTH
& WELLBEING BOARD
OUR ROLE
The board brings together key leaders across Dudley to take collective action to improve health and wellbeing.
The board hosts a number of alliances and partnership boards which contribute to improving health and wellbeing in conjunction with the borough vision.
OUR VISION
We are committed to working with local organisations, politicians, business and our communities to help make Dudley a place where everyone can live longer, safer healthier lives.
We have a Health and Wellbeing Strategy that sets out the goals we have agreed to tackle to improve the health and wellbeing of people living and working in Dudley.
We know that in some parts of the borough people are living shorter lives and more of their life in poor health. Through delivering our strategy we aim to rebalance this inequality in health.
These goals and the future planning of services across the borough are determined from evidence collated in the borough’s Joint Strategic Assessment.
